Our Inspection Services
4-Point Inspections • Wind Mitigation Inspections • Drone Roof Inspections
Roof Inspection
A roof inspection documents the roof's age, type, overall condition, remaining useful life, and any visible signs of damage, deterioration, or leaks. In Florida, insurance companies pay particular attention to roof condition and remaining useful life, especially as shingle and modified bitumen roofs approach the end of their expected service life.
Electrical System
The electrical portion of a 4-Point Inspection documents the type and condition of the electrical panel, wiring type, amperage, and any readily visible hazards or deficiencies. This is a limited visual inspection and does not include testing or evaluating every electrical circuit, outlet, switch, fixture, or other electrical component throughout the home.
Plumbing Inspection
The plumbing portion of a 4-Point Inspection documents the type and visible condition of the home's plumbing system, including the water heater, supply lines, shut-off valves, drains, and any visible signs of leaks or deficiencies.
Before Your Inspection: Insurance underwriters need clear photos showing the shut-off valves, water supply lines, and drain pipes beneath sinks. There's no need to completely empty your cabinets — simply move enough items so these plumbing components are clearly visible and not blocked by stored belongings.
HVAC Inspection
The HVAC portion of a 4-Point Inspection documents the type, age, and visible condition of the home's heating and air-conditioning system and identifies any readily visible hazards or deficiencies. This is a limited visual inspection and does not include diagnostic testing, servicing, or a comprehensive evaluation of the HVAC system.
Wind Mitigation
A Wind Mitigation Inspection documents construction features that help a home resist damage from hurricanes and high winds, including the roof, roof-to-wall connections, roof deck attachment, and protection of windows and doors. These features may qualify homeowners for valuable discounts on the windstorm portion of their homeowners insurance premium.
